ΜμΡΔΙηΗψΉΩΝψ Planetarium presents β€œStar of Bethlehem” Dec. 10

The ΜμΡΔΙηΗψΉΩΝψ Planetarium will host three showings of the annual holiday show β€œStar of Bethlehem” at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. December 10 in the ΜμΡΔΙηΗψΉΩΝψ Planetarium in the Science Building.

The show will teach audiences about the origin of the star and how it played into the story of the β€œChrist Child.”ΜύThe presentation will answer questions like: β€˜Who were the wise men? Were there just three? Did they come from Persia, Babylon or Ethiopia? Did they follow a visible star to Jerusalem?’ and more.

β€œA holiday show at the planetarium is a long-standing tradition,” Planetarium Director Dr. Tim Folkerts said. β€œEvery year it seems someone tells me β€˜I remember coming out here as a kid and watching a Christmas show like this.’”

Dr. Folkerts will host the presentations and will be available to answer questions following the show.ΜύReservations are not required and admission is free.Μύ
