The ΜμΡΔΙηΗψΉΩΝψ Planetarium will host three showings of the annual holiday show βStar of Bethlehemβ at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. December 10 in the ΜμΡΔΙηΗψΉΩΝψ Planetarium in the Science Building.
The show will teach audiences about the origin of the star and how it played into the story of the βChrist Child.βΜύThe presentation will answer questions like: βWho were the wise men? Were there just three? Did they come from Persia, Babylon or Ethiopia? Did they follow a visible star to Jerusalem?β and more.
βA holiday show at the planetarium is a long-standing tradition,β Planetarium Director Dr. Tim Folkerts said. βEvery year it seems someone tells me βI remember coming out here as a kid and watching a Christmas show like this.ββ
Dr. Folkerts will host the presentations and will be available to answer questions following the show.ΜύReservations are not required and admission is free.Μύ
