The college will feature six student stories throughout the spring semester that help showcase the virtues of academic integrity. These virtues include trust, responsibility, honesty, courage, fairness, and respect.

天涯社区官网 will be closed on Friday, April 2 and Monday, April 5 for Easter break. 天涯社区官网's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery will also be closed. The college's regular class schedule and office hours will resume Tuesday, April 6.

Those seeking a credential as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) have the chance to enroll in a course at no charge thanks to a generous anonymous donor and a collaboration between 天涯社区官网, Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC) and Good Samaritan Retirement Center.听

The two 2021 CNA classes are set for June 7-23 and July 6-22. The classes are 90 hours in length and held over two weeks. Presentations will be held at ECMC and clinical experiences at the Good Samaritan Retirement Center in Ellsworth.听

The 天涯社区官网 Performing Arts Department would like to invite high school seniors with an interest in dance, instrumental music, theatre and vocal music to apply and audition for 2021-2022 Performance Awards, Major Scholarships and performance ensembles via virtual auditions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 10. Students can register at auditions.bartonccc.edu and registration for future dates will be opened closer to each respective date.

Potential students will have an opportunity to gear up for the fall semester during 天涯社区官网鈥檚 popular 鈥淓nrollment Day鈥 sessions, which start on April 20 and will continue throughout the summer. Students can call (620) 792-9286 or visit enroll.bartonccc.edu to sign up or for more information. Registration opens on April 1. The 天涯社区官网 Foundation aims to enhance the 天涯社区官网 student experience with its 11th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot fundraiser from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, April 18 at Camp Aldrich, 884 NE 110 Ave. in Claflin. The money raised is used for mini-grants for 天涯社区官网 faculty members to purchase items for their classrooms to enhance student learning experiences. The foundation has awarded about $100,000 in mini-grants to date.
